Evelyn L. (Johnson) Barnhardt
Evelyn and her husband Robert in the picture on the left. Family will understand the picture in the middle this is Evelyn trying to ride a toddlers toy. The picture on the right is Mom and Dad with my daughters in front of the La Crosse Queen which we had taken a trip on.
This is a picture of Evelyn when she married.
One thing everyone seemed to agree on, was that my mom was probably one of the nicest people to have ever lived. She smiled a lot and would occasionally laugh until she cried. She worked as a cashier at Randall's in Eau Claire where many people would wait to go through her line, because of her personality. She also after retiring and moving to Arizona had worked for a short time with small children in Casa Grande which was likely one of her favorite jobs. Many times throughout the years of her youngest granddaughters early years in school, she would help Trish with their holiday parties at school. She loved to bake even when their was no one around to make an excuse to bake for.
